A while back I was contacted by the Aunt of a bride getting married at St. Hyacinth Basilica. As a gift to the bride and groom, Karen was going to paint a watercolor picture of the church. She was having problems finding a good enough resolution photo of the outside of the Basilica that would help her visualize it for her painting.
Karen had seen a bunch of posts on my blog - as I’ve shot at the Basilica numerous times. Even though I wasn’t the photographer for her niece’s wedding - I sent her a bunch of high resolution images for her to use in her painting.
I received an email with a scan of the finished painting and it’s just awesome!
