My daughter just pulled out the name of the winner for the January “Comment Contest”. Unfortunately she wouldn’t let me take her picture doing it! It’s frustrating being a photographer and having 2 kids that hate having their photos taken

I am so excited to have had one image place in the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association’s most recent contest!

This image from Alex & Lori’s wedding placed in the top 20 in the Ceremony category.  I captured this image of Lori’s father moments before he was going to walk Lori down the aisle…

Judge’s Comments: You don’t feel the photographer’s presence at all.  The dark brown tones and the clarity of the light are beautiful.
