Greg and Sally got married in February. They had a very beautiful ceremony and reception at the Newberry Library. Everything about the day was super fun and Greg and Sally were awesome to work with.

On a sidenote, the reception entertainment was provided by Maggie Speaks - which is a super Chicago area band. What’s really cool is that the lead guitarist (Chris Seibold) went to the same college as I did. We actually played in the Elmhurst College Jazz band for a couple years - I played the Alto Saxophone…

I shot a very cold Portrait Session for Jason & Erin a few months back and totally forgot to blog about it! Jason & Erin aren’t engaged (yet), but they are a super cute couple and I had a fun time with them taking some photos near Magnificent Mile downtown.

Nick and Emily were married on New Years Eve… Their wedding was fantastic and I am so grateful to have been chosen to document their day. It was hard not to take awesome photos of these two as they are so cute together! The ceremony was held at St. Joan of Arc church in Lisle followed by the reception at the Hyatt Lodge in Oakbrook. While the day was cold and ended up being snowy, it was a very beautiful atmosphere. The reception entertainment was provided by Spoken Four and they made sure that 2007 certainly went out with a bang!

We finally had a little break in the cold and snowy Chicago winter to get Greg & Sally’s Engagement Session finished. They are getting married next month - which is coming up pretty quickly! We had a blast and did some photos in the park across from the Newberry Library (their wedding location) as well as some downtown.

Michael & Violet snuck in an Engagement Session last Sunday before winter really starts to set in. It was a bit windy and cold out, but we made the best of it and tried to have some fun. We spent some time playing at a park with their cute dog Maddy. Michael is the wine director and Sommelier for The Peninsula Hotel Chicago… Doesn’t that just sound like a cool job!? Violet is a musician and plays in a wedding string quartet called Dolce Strings.

Kyle and Kristin were married a few weeks ago on November 10th. Kyle is an Attending Physician at Children’s Memorial Hospital and Kristin works at the Lyric Opera. Their wedding was a beautiful affair! Joyce Westin Dunne was the wedding coordinator and she did a phenomenal job of putting the day together! The ceremony was held at St. Pauls United Church of Christ with a reception following at The Drake Hotel. Gentlemen of Leisure provided the outstanding reception entertainment… It was a wonderful event and I feel lucky to be the photographer there to document their special day.

Brian and Thi were married a few weeks ago. I have been looking forward to their wedding ever since I shot
their engagement session about a year ago. The ceremony was held at Assumption Church in Chicago,
which is a beautiful church by the way! We took some time to head out around the city prior to the reception
and had a great time.
