I’m a little behind on posting on the Blog because I’ve been swamped with weddings!  I’m in the midst of tons of editing and some album designs…  Not to mention wedding shoots!  July/August is a busy time for John Andrews Photography :)  But that isn’t at all a bad thing!
Look for some updates in the next week or so.  I’ll be posting some pics from Peter & Alaina’s wedding in a few minutes!

I love Chicago, but sometimes I wish I lived in sunny California! I had to reschedule an outdoor baby portrait session and an engagement session this weekend because of crummy weather in the windy city.

I blame all of the California Photographer friends of mine for hogging all the sunshine!

Socrates was baptized at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church a few weeks ago. His parents held a wonderful reception at the beautiful Medinah Country Club.

I’m always out to increase the value in my packages and services. This often means that I tweak my products every so often. As you all may know, most of my wedding packages include a spiral bound “contact sheet” magazine style proofing book.

I’m pleased to announce that starting soon I will be upgrading my proofing magazine to a soft cover perfect bound book, much like you’d see at Barnes and Nobel!

I really wish that this show was running when I was in LA a few months back! This is the type of photography and artistry that just amazes me… It’s crazy because I think of my work and how much passion and creativity that I try to put into every shoot - but seeing something like this is just breathtaking. What’s most imazing is that there is no digital manipulation done on the images!
