This is a followup post from my prior post about Chris & Kim’s wedding.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to highlight something that I thought was just so insanely awesome that happened at the wedding. Chris is a songwriter, producer and super talented musician. He is also the frontman for the Chicago band Escape From Earth - which if you have not heard, drop what you are doing right now and check out their website and even check out their albums on iTunes!

Chris wrote and recorded the song to be used for his and Kim’s first dance at the wedding. The song was/is awesome and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when all of this took place.

This winter in Chicago has been pretty long and not so much fun - I really don’t like cold weather!

I’ve been busy working on lots of exciting stuff for the upcoming wedding season, finishing album designs and that sort of thing. I really can’t believe it’s already March!

Anyway, stay tuned for some fun stuff. I’m going to try to take some more time this year and blog a little more on a personal level and how that all ties into my photography business. I was looking back through my blog posts and while they are awesome (lol) - I mostly have just posted my favorite shots from weddings and other events. Even though I’m super busy, I’m really going to make the effort and find the time to post more! More personal photography work, more wedding industry related thoughts and talk about trends, featured vendors etc…

I’m back from the hectic holidays and anxiously awaiting the awesome weddings and events that I have booked and coming in 2008!
