Mike & Laura were married a few weeks ago and I had such a great time working with them. I shot their engagement photos a few months back and knew then that their wedding would be something special. Laura started out the day with her girls getting their hair and makeup done at Mario Tricoci. The ceremony took place at St. Petronille in Glenn Ellyn followed by a fun reception at the Hilton.
Mike & Laura rented a photo booth which turned out to be a big hit with the guests! I love the old film & chemical photobooths that are available for rent. They are just so cool and fun!
The band Standing Room Only really rocked the house. This is the first time I’ve seen them at a wedding, I’ve had a few photographer friends that have made comments in the past. If you are looking for a rocking wedding band - you should check these guys out! You can catch some cool pictures of them in the slideshow below.
I had a blast. I hope you guys had a fun time in Hawaii. You should have brought me with

Mike & Amy were married on 7/14/2007 in DeKalb Illinois. The wedding was held at St. Mary’s Church with their reception at South Pointe Centre. You might remember Mike & Amy’s Engagement photos a few months back. We had an awesome time and I avoided getting run over by the bridal party’s speeding golf carts! (Watch the slideshow)
Congratulations guys!

Tom and Basia (Barbara) were married a few weeks ago. This was my second Polish wedding of the year! I’m mostly Polish myself, so these weddings are a lot of fun! The wedding was held at St. Stephen’s in Tinley Park followed by a wonderful reception at DiNolfo’s Banquets. Tom and Basia know how to throw a party - that’s for sure. They had a really energetic Polish dance troupe take part in both the ceremony and reception.
I wish you both the best and a wonderful marriage!

Matt and Andrea were married on May 19th. Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Hyacinth Basilica (I shoot there alot!), followed by an awesome reception at the Metropolitan Club on the 66th floor of the Sears Tower! The weather was beautiful and we got a lot of fun pictures throughout the day. The day couldn’t have gone any smoother, thanks to D’Rita Robinson (Dreams by D’Rita) providing the event coordination.
I really love it when couples just tell me to “do my thing” and give me complete creative control over the day!

Bryan and Alicia both live in New York, but got married in the Chicago area. They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! The marriage ceremony took place at St. Petronille in Glen Ellen. We shot over to Cantigny Gardens to shoot some relaxed portraits before heading over to the Danada House for a fantastic reception. The entertainment was provided by the Larry King Orchestra - which did a fantastic job!
Thanks for allowing me to take part in your truly wonderful day! I hope you are having fun in Hawaii!

I don’t know if any of my 2007 couples can top the awesome wedding that Carlos and Joanna just put on a couple weeks ago! (If you are reading this and I’m shooting your wedding this year - prove me wrong!)
The venues were fabulous and two of the best in the Chicagoland area. The marriage ceremony took place at St. Hyacinth Basilica, and the reception at Germania Place - both located in Chicago.
Carlos and Joanna come from very different backgrounds. Joanna is Polish and Carlos is from Honduras. They are also both lovers of music and dance - which really showed in their choice of reception entertainment.
The cocktail hour featured the Dave Miranda guitar trio providing some great guitar music, followed by a few performances by a Polish Dance Troupe!
The Georgia Frances Orchestra provided much of the evening dance music, followed by a few sets by Bandoleros. These guys were just amazing!
I had a blast and we got some great shots. Much thanks to Brian Choi for second shooting with me on this wedding!
Here are a bunch of my favorites out of the thousands of frames captured!
Congratulations you guys! Have fun on your Honeymoon!

Planning for your wedding photography is always something that you should think about sooner rather than later. Recently I’ve had a bunch of brides contact me about dates that are only 3-5 months out from now. Unfortunately I’m pretty much booked up for 2007. I still have some dates open for later in the year, but popular dates have long been booked. I do have a real time availability checker on my main website that you can use to check availability for your date - or you can click here -> Availability Checker
Whether or not you are thinking about booking my services or another photographer, it’s much better to start looking sooner if you want to book who you really want!
