Bryan & Ashley E-Session

I can’t wait to shoot Bryan and Ashley’s wedding next year in 2018!  I can tell from our Engagement Session a few months back that we’ll have an amazing time at the wedding!

We spent a few hours roaming around Cantigny in Wheaton and here are some of my favorites!

Custom USB Drives Take 2

A while back I posted about some custom printed USB drives that I was able to have made in order to deliver files to my clients.

Well, I ran out so I needed to get some more!  These are a slight twist on the past ones that I was using (I love the wood).  And the logo printing came out pretty nice as well!

Any photog friends that are in the market for some great drives for their business should definitely check these out from USB Memory Direct!

Kevin & Renee E-Session

Kevin and Renee were a fun couple to work with in shooting their Engagement Session.  We met pretty early on a weekend morning down by Lake Michigan.  As you can see, we had quite a bit of fun roaming around the beach and other locations near Lincoln Park!

Congratulations Will & Jen!

Will & Jen were married earlier this summer in July.  Their ceremony was held at St. Isaac Jogues Church followed by a reception at Esplanade Lakes Ballroom.  We also stopped off at Morton Arboretum for some beautiful relaxed portraits in between the two events.

Here are a few words from Jen on how they met!

We actually went to high school together, but did not start dating until college. We both attended Indiana University in Bloomington. Will proposed in December of 2015. Jen’s family has a long standing tradition of building and decorating gingerbread houses together as a family each holiday season. Jen’s extended family comes over and everyone creates their own gingerbread masterpiece. Will had told Jen that he was just planning to build a normal gingerbread house, just a little bigger. Since Jen was so focused on building her own gingerbread house, she did not notice when Will snuck away to add a steeple to the top of his gingerbread house. Will then asked Jen to come in front of the Christmas tree to take a picture with his finished “house”. At that moment, Jen’s uncle carried out Will’s gingerbread church at which point Will got down on one knee in front of everyone and proposed.

Michael & Janie E-Session

Michael and Janie’s Engagement Session was a bit of a whirlwind as I recall.  We started off shooting around the Wrigley Building on Michigan Avenue and made a whirlwind of stops over the course of a few hours.  I think we got some amazing photos – but it doesn’t hurt to have a wonderful and fun couple to work with!

You may notice that a few of these shots along the river are very popular with some of my brides this year!
