Ryan & Diana E-Session

Ryan & Diana are getting married next year in June.  We shot an awesome Engagement Session last month that included a bunch of great locations and a lot of fun.  I particularly love the shots with the yellow Lamborghini:)

Ryan & Diana were also my third couple that were able to be featured on WCIU’s You & Me This Morning‘s Engagement Story segment.  You should definitely check out the link below.  These two are just so cute together!  And yes, I thought that Ryan looked like Patrick Dempsey the first time I saw him as well:)

Superb, really great images. Me like !

Congratulations Rick & Katie!

Rick & Katie were married about a month ago.   Katie is Lindsay’s sister and I loved that I had the opportunity to shoot another wedding in the family:)  I love repeat customers!  LOL

A beautiful ceremony was held at St. James Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Arboretum Club.  There was a lot of dancing and fun had by all!  We also made a quick stop in Long Grove and got some really great shots.  Check out my favorites and a slideshow below!

Wow!I love the backlit shot of them kissing in the garden! Fantastic work!!!

Congratulations Ron & Liane!

Ron & Liane’s wedding was one of the most emotional weddings I’ve been to in a while.  There were many tears shed during the day and a lot of fun had at the reception.  Orange Wedding Films shot and projected an amazing SDE (same day edit) at the reception that was amazing.

A few words from Liane about her and Ron, and their wedding day.

Ron and I met at a club about 8 years ago when we were out with friends. One of my friends knew Ron so we were introduced. According to Ron, it was love at first sight =). It was an opposite attraction, but we learned a lot from each other and it’s been amazing. How Ron proposed? I LOVE SHOES…One time, I ordered 3 pairs of shoes online so I was excited to go home and open my package. When I got home I started fitting my shoes one box to another and Ron was watching =) I was all happy and excited to wear them. When I opened the last box, there was the engagement ring tied in one of the shoe and the box cover he wrote “Hunny Will You Marry Me” Ron likes to do little surprises which I love. Ron and I pretty much planned the wedding with the help of my family specially my mother. Its our vision. We picked some special songs we like. We were engaged for 1 year. We want our wedding to be intimate, just close friends and family. A lot of dancing and drinks.

Check out some of my favorite photos below along with a slideshow.  Also be sure to check out the SDE from Orange Wedding Films!

Congratulations Tom & Sally!

Tom & Sally’s wedding is one of three that I will be shooting in the next year.  Sally has two sisters, Carrie and Cindy that have also hired me to document their weddings in 2012!  I’m looking forward to working with everyone again in the coming year!

The wedding was nothing short amazing with a nice combination a quaint ceremony held at Grace Lutheran Church in LaGrange followed by a jaw dropping reception at the Art Institute Modern Wing.  Orchestra 33 provided the fantastic entertainment and the day went off without a hitch.  We were able to stop at Millenium Park prior to the reception to capture some classic “Chicago” backdrop Relaxed Portraits.  Check out the photos/slideshow below!

Beautiful Photos. It looks like they had a lot of fun and very beautiful wedding. Well Done.

Doug & Maggie E-Session

Doug & Maggie are getting married next year. We took a few hours to go out and shoot some Engagement Photos around Chicago. We definitely had a great time despite the wind coming off Lake Michigan that day. I think it adds to the “windblown model hair look”:)

Doug & Maggie were also featured on a short segment on WCIU’s You & Me This Morning. They are my second couple that were able to be featured on a TV segment! I think that’s pretty awesome. Check out their segment below! And when the wedding comes around I certainly want to learn “The Douglas” too!
